About the Role:

Ferrero Luxembourg Headquarters is seeking a Consumer & Shopper Understanding Manager to join the Sugar Confectionary Consumer Research team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving consumer insights, data analysis and experimental projects at the point-of-sale to inform and optimize the development and marketing of Ferrero’s product offering in the sugar confectionary product categories.

Main Responsibilities:

CONSUMER & SHOPPER INSIGHTS: 

Covering this role, you will autonomously lead a series of multinational consumer research projects, building on a wide range of research methodologies. You will gather, analyze, and interpret consumer insights related to Ferrero’s and competitors’ products and strategy in the category.  

You will translate findings into actionable recommendations for new product development and marketing strategies in our key geographies. 

Additionally, you will build and maintain relationships with external research and consultancy partners to enhance the depth and breadth of consumer understanding resources.  

COORDINATION & COMMUNICATION: 

You will present consumer insights, research findings and your recommendations to marketing stakeholders and the category management team in a clear and compelling manner.  

Moreover, you will facilitate effective communication and coordination among different departments and stakeholders, ensuring a seamless flow of information and alignment of goals. 

PLANNING & BUDGET MANAGEMENT: 

As a Consumer & Shopper Understanding Manager, you will define the best set of activities (research funnel) to answer the relevant business questions & adapt these when necessary.  

On top of this, you will lead the process of budget definition & monitoring regarding market research activities of the category. 

Lastly, you will build partnerships and work in cooperation with Marketing, Other Consumer & Shopper Research Functions, Controlling and external research partners. 

Who we are looking for:

You will bring knowledge from a degree in Marketing, Economics, Business, Psychology or a related field, combined with 5-7 years of experience in an Insights/Market or Consumer Research function within a multinational company (preferably consumer goods) and/or a research agency. 

Your project management skills will prove invaluable in effectively managing the lifecycle of projects and in engaging successfully with relevant stakeholders in each phase.   

You will succeed in this role building on your analytical skills and capabilities in interpreting the consumers’ voice and translating it into actionable insights and recommendations.  

Your excellent interpersonal, communication and coordination skills will prove valuable, as will your ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional and international team environment.  

Your positive attitude and capability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines will be a strong asset. 

Lastly, your familiarity with different cultural contexts can be an advantage.
