About the Role:
Ferrero Luxembourg HQ is seeking a motivated Kinder Category Management Intern to join the Sales Business Development team.
In this role, you will support category management activities, contributing to the development and execution of sales strategies aimed at driving business growth and enhancing market presence.
Main Responsibilities:
New Product Development (NPD)
As a Kinder Category Management Intern, you will support the team on NPD projects across Kinder brands. Covering this role, you will lead the projects from a commercial point of view, collaborating with various stakeholders such as local and area marketing, global marketing, and strategy & innovation teams.
Prior to new launches, you will support the Category Manager by providing Central Marketing with insights and recommendations on key commercial domains, including range recommendation by channel, pricing strategy, category vision, and selling story. You will also monitor and track new launch and portfolio projects to ensure key timings and deliverables are successfully achieved. Moreover, you will contribute to translating Category/Trade Marketing strategies into actionable activation guidelines at the store level (‘picture of success’) for the channel.
Core Portfolio Development
In this position, you will contribute to the portfolio development for core brands and products. Your role extends to identifying white spaces in various channels and accordingly taking actions on SKU developments.
Additionally, you will provide insights and analysis for the development of a full portfolio architecture for the Kinder categories.
Category Development
Together with cross-functional teams, you will support strategic Marketing and local Trade Marketing/Category Management teams to bring the right focus on Sales/Category dimensions.
Furthermore, you will foster business intelligence for the category/channel in scope to develop a solid Group understanding and formulate insights and recommendations for strategy development.
Lastly, you will develop a good level of Retail/Category Management/Shopper knowledge and understanding to nurture all stakeholders, while also exploring more disruptive channels and new trends.
Who we are looking for:
You will bring an educational background related to business, such as Business Administration or Marketing.
Your excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills will be crucial, complemented by your dynamic, proactive approach and ability to work under pressure.
You will demonstrate strong attention to detail and a result-oriented mindset. Your enthusiasm and motivation to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment will be valuable. Your effective presentation skills will prove essential, alongside your ability to work with different levels across the organization.
Lastly, you will have excellent MS Office skills, especially in Excel and Power BI, and be fluent in English.
