About the Role:
To act as guide and focal point for Sales and Marketing, ensuring the seamless execution of channel strategies and driving category and brand growth through data-driven insights, operational excellence, and collaborative execution of commercial policies. This role is pivotal in optimizing trade marketing activities to enhance in-store visibility, space utilization, and sales performance while fostering a collaborative environment across stakeholders
Main Responsibilities:
This role involves a blend of strategic and tactical functions aimed at propelling Ferrero business forward in key areas.
You will serve as the primary link between Sales and Marketing, developing and implementing channel strategies and optimizing shelf impact. Your responsibilities include analyzing market data to identify opportunities, developing new category plans, and supporting key accounts with annual campaign calendars.
You will utilize tools like My Perfect Store, Nielsen IQ and Kantar Household Panel for gap analysis, propose remediation plans and enhancing visibility programs focusing on ROI analysis.
Additionally, you will lead cross-functional reviews for continuous improvement, contribute to defining commercial policies, and analyze performance metrics to ensure accountability.
Collaborating with the Revenue Management team, you will integrate pricing insights into trade marketing strategies and define route-to-market strategies for new product launches. You will foster collaboration across the organization, provide guidance on trade marketing best practices, and track KPIs to measure success.
Managing the commercial calendar, developing compelling sales stories, and providing customized solutions to drive category growth are also key aspects of this role.
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a candidate with 5-7 years of experience and a commercial background that straddles both trade marketing and sales within the UAE/Lower Gulf region. The ideal candidate should be a super user of Nielsen IQ, exhibiting very high analytical skills. Additionally, they should be familiar with and have a strong understanding of the Kantar Household Panel, and possess excellent presentation skills, particularly in the usage of PowerPoint.
In terms of previous companies or industries, we prefer candidates who have worked in FMCG food, multinational companies, marketing data and analytics businesses, or retailers.
Proficiency in English is a must and Arabic as a plus.
